The meeting is the annual meeting of the member societies of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB). More than 12,000 independent scientists representing the American Association of Anatomists, the American
Physiological Society, American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, American Society for Investigative Pathology, American Society for Nutritional Sciences, American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, and various guest societies attended this year's meeting.
As a guest society, the AFMR hosted a series of four outstanding symposia.
